Ashford Borough Citizens Advice is NOT funded directly by Government.

We apply for grants from Ashford Borough Council, and other charities and trusts, in competition with other demands for their money in a very difficult financial climate.

Some Bureaux have already closed, or reduced staff and opening hours. We have been supplementing operating costs from reserves to prevent this, but cannot continue to do so.

As a result, our operating deficit in 2016-17 was

Without additional income, we will be forced to reduce our service at a time when it is desperately needed by the local community.
